Coffee/Franklin/Grundy county cut the ribbon on their Isaiah 117 House on August 10, 2022!

Coffee/Franklin/Grundy County Location Leader, Susan Johnson’s Isaiah 117 House story:

In March of 2019, I heard Ronda speak in Nashville at the Children’s Advocacy Days Conference. While Ronda was speaking, I could not believe what I was hearing, children sleeping in offices and conference rooms. I could not wrap my mind around it, and I could not get Ronda out of my head. I had my husband watch the video of Ronda speaking and he immediately said we have to do this.  When I started asking questions in my county, I found out that it was worse. I learned that we did not have a Department of Children’s Services office so there were times that our children were going to offices at the county jail. This was it for me! No child should be in an office, a conference room, or an office at a county jail. I called Ronda and asked how we could get an Isaiah 117 House for our children. Our journey began officially in May of 2019.

Special thanks to our community partners that helped with the opening of our CFG County house:
